I love drumming, music & learning! This is a key part of my lessons, and since you love drumming too, we are going to make lots of progress and enjoy this journey.

I have over 30 years experience as a drum teacher, and in that time I have taught in almost every scenario imaginable: individual and group lessons, masterclasses, workshops, clinics, online lessons and lectures. I have taught all ages & abilities, worked with drummers with special needs, complete beginners and seasoned professionals.

I love the journey of learning, and have had the joy of helping students go from primary school level to university and beyond. My unique skill set helps me to guide students through whatever journey they are on with drumming. I can help you with your goals, or help you when you are stuck to reach the next level.

As a teacher, I currently work at Griffith University Brisbane (The Conservatorium of Music), St.Andrews Lutheran College in Tallebudgera, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar and privately in my home studio in Currumbin. I have previously taught at many institutions including: UQ (University of Queensland in Toowoomba), Massey University (Wellington New Zealand), JMC Academy (Brisbane), Scots College (Wellington NZ) & many other locations.
